Home Tour
Docents, acting as the original owners of the home, reenacted life in Pasadena as if it were 1911.
The gentleman in the straw hat was working in the front yard and "invited us all to supper." The home across the street in the photo above was also on the tour, as well as the house below.

Oranges of Bungalow Heaven
Pasadena, CA -- Each year The Bungalow Heaven Neighborhood Association hosts a home tour of eight early 20th century bungalows. The Craftsmen homes are all influenced by the Arts and Crafts movement of the early 1900s in Pasadena.
I took this photo of the back yard of one of the bungalows. The oranges were bursting with color!

Alfred's Window
Dana Point, CA -- One would never guess this photo was shot in an affluent neighborhood in Orange County. It just so happened there was a vacant lot, a building shaped like a barn and a crooked tree in the foreground. But what caught my eye was a silhouette of a person in the window. Very Hitchcock.
