You are right about loyalty. I ran a series of photos on my site a long time ago about dogs sitting on the beach waiting for their masters to finish surfing. They go out an romp in the surf to greet their masters when their masters come in after finishing surfing.
I have another dog photo posted today, to try to help someone find a missing dog.
There is something amazing about a dog and it's dedication.
