It Is Alive

I am still not sure what this is. Anyone know?

This building ominously rises over the Hollywood Freeway, pointing it's robotic-looking arm at the Cathedral of Our Lady of The Angels across the freeway.

Nice object, something to wonder about every time you drive past, until you know what's inside. Once you know, it becomes less interesting. I passed a similarly intriguing object for months before finding out that it had some kind of water cleaning installation inside it. Now I only look at it every so often.

This is fantastic, even not knowing what it is!

It's the new quarters for the L.A. Unified school district offices as well as a new school. It's fabulous.

For real, school district offices? Wow!

`adjacent, I think you mentioned that before. I'd like to see what's inside.

The design is very "satisfying": shape, size, direction, colour. Catching it at dusk has added to the overall effect. Good photo ...

It is a very interesting design.

It's gorgeous. Nice to know that thoughtful design goes into something so pedestrian. Why not?
